S8. Code of Conduct

8.1 Individual Perspective: Each member of Global Commons is encouraged to maintain their individual perspective and autonomy. There are no leaders or subordinates within the organization.

8.2 Equality and Non-Discrimination: Global Commons upholds principles of equality and non-discrimination. No special treatment or privileges are afforded based on gender or any other characteristic.

8.3 Emotional Resilience: Members are expected to have a good level of emotional resilience and mental health to withstand criticism and engage in constructive dialogue.

8.4 Approach to Sexual Abuse: Global Commons maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual abuse. Members are expected to have a clear understanding of what constitutes unacceptable behavior and to report any instances of abuse promptly to legal authorities within 48 hours of the occurrence. Failure to report sexual abuse in a timely manner will result in immediate termination of membership. Additionally, members who recall and disclose instances of sexual abuse after days, months, or years will also face immediate termination.

8.5 Non-Intervention in Criminal Affairs: Global Commons does not intervene in criminal matters involving its members. It is the responsibility of individuals to report any criminal activity to the appropriate legal authorities.

8.6 Freedom of Conversation: Members are free to engage in mutual conversations with individuals of the opposite sex without any legal constraints or parameters. However, it is important to note that individuals who hold conservative or orthodox views may not align with the values and principles of Global Commons and may not find the community conducive to their beliefs.

8.7 Respect and Civility: All interactions within Global Commons should be conducted with respect and civility towards others. Harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

8.8 Compliance: Members are expected to comply with the Code of Conduct and conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the values and principles of Global Commons.
