S1. Name and Purpose

1.1 Name: The name of this organization shall be "Global Commons" (hereinafter referred to as the "Organization").

1.2 Purpose: The purpose of the Organization shall be to promote and advance the principles of inclusivity, collective wisdom, and human flourishing as outlined in the preamble and goals of Global Commons. The Organization shall strive to create a boundary-breaking political community that embraces individuals without limitations based on geography or race. Its primary objectives shall include, but not be limited to:

1.2.1. Inclusivity: To foster a community where individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives are welcomed and valued, and where decision-making processes are inclusive and participatory.

1.2.2. Collective Wisdom: To promote the utilization of collective wisdom in decision-making processes, recognizing the value of expert input and diverse viewpoints in addressing societal challenges.

1.2.3. Human Flourishing: To enhance the earthly existence and provide fulfillment to every individual, by advocating for policies and initiatives that prioritize the well-being and equitable treatment of all members of society.

1.2.4. Boundary-breaking Ethos: To challenge traditional boundaries and social customs that restrict the full participation and realization of human potential, and to create a space where innovative ideas and approaches to governance are embraced.

1.2.5. Global Collaboration: To collaborate with individuals, organizations, and communities worldwide in pursuit of common goals and objectives, recognizing the interconnectedness of global issues and the need for collective action.

1.2.6. Practical Solutions: To develop and implement practical solutions and initiatives that address pressing societal challenges, with a focus on promoting sustainable development, social justice, and peace.

1.2.7. Promotion of Love: To foster a culture of love, compassion, and empathy within the Organization and in society at large, recognizing the inherent worth and dignity of every individual. 1.3 Nonprofit Nature: The Organization shall operate as a nonprofit entity, and no part of its net earnings shall inure to the benefit of any private individual. The Organization shall be organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and/or scientific purposes, in accordance with principles of global citizenship and cooperation. It shall strive to adhere to internationally recognized standards of nonprofit governance and ethics, while respecting the diverse legal frameworks and cultural contexts of its members and stakeholders.

1.4 Compliance with Applicable Laws: The Organization shall operate in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing nonprofit organizations, including but not limited to those related to tax-exempt status, charitable solicitation, and corporate governance.
